What kind of people are naturists?

1. They are people that look you in the eye when taking to you.
2. They are people that have respect for people of all shapes and sizes.
3. They are people that like you for being you and not what brand you wear.
4. They are people that don't make rude or sexual comments to you or about you.
5. They are people that enjoy meeting the real you, not someone you pretend to be.
6. They are people that come from all walks of life and professions.
7. They are people that are more friendly than regular people.
8. They are people that don't think a nude body is a sexual statement.
9. They are people that don't like to wear clothes.

Maybe this helps explain it.-bk
What is Naturism? The Naturism is a way of living in harmony with nature characterized by the practice of collective nudity for the purpose of promoting self-esteem, respect for others and the environment.

The definition of naturism is the practice of nudity in a social environment and seeks the welfare resulting from the sharing of our body with the natural elements. After all, if you think about it, what is more natural and enjoyable than the the enjoyment and freedom of full body in contact with water, air and sunlight.

Unfortunately, in our modern society, nudity appears closely linked to eroticism, over sexualized, with the body as a mere object of pleasure, and then exploited to exhaustion, by advertising, with a view of "perfection", that services fashion and profit, or otherwise ordered by cultural or religious practices that require certain areas of our bodies, be deemed "dirty and sinful."

Naturism promotes greater joy of life, mental health and physical harmony and creates greater self-esteem, calm and relaxation both physically and emotionally

Naturism is a state of mind as well as a state of undress.
Naturists don’t prejudge people based on their body shape, size, or condition or the style or fashion of their clothing. Neither do we judge someone by what job or position they have; or by what car they have or don’t have.

It is rather an enlightened state of mind in regards to how we perceive other humans.  We realize a nude or naked body is not a sexual statement. Just like Michelangelo’s stature of “David” is not porn.

We believe sophistication is a mental state rather than what you wear or don’t wear. We certainly aren’t influenced by what brand of clothing or accessories you might be wearing or not wearing.
Can you really judge someone by what he can afford to buy and put on their body, be it clothing, a watch, or jewelry? Can anyone really say pre-judging others like this is an advancement of human civilization?

Just because someone is wearing the latest style or the most popular brand is certainly not an indication of their quality as a human. Naturists value a human’s inner quality much more than their exterior or accessories.
